You could say event planning is in my blood. Long before Pinterest existed, my mom was already that mom — the one who turned every gathering into something magical. Her family nickname? Martha Stewart wannabe. And honestly, the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

For years I've been the one in the friend group quietly making sure every detail was just right — planning, decorating, crafting, and showing up for the people I love. I taught crafting classes, ran an Etsy shop, and was always the first to volunteer when someone needed a party pulled together. Then a few years ago, a dear friend asked me to be her day-of wedding coordinator. I laughed and said yes — but not before telling her that was a very polite way of calling me the bossy friend.

That "yes" opened every door. Women's conferences, weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, Junior League celebrations — each one deepened my love for this work and made it clearer that I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

The idea for Violet Thread Collective came to me during the 2025 Fueled by Faith Conference, and my world hasn't been the same since. The response from my community has been overwhelming — I booked several events before I ever printed a business card or launched a website, and that is not lost on me. I truly believe this is a calling, and I find so much joy in creating beautiful spaces where people can come together, connect, and make memories that last a lifetime.

We're just getting started — and I cannot wait to see what we get to celebrate together.
